"If you are a serious Pilates student wanting to improve your health, create a strong and aesthetically pleasing body, increase your focus and soothe your mind, Ron will deliver.
Ron worked with me on old and new injuries and through surgeries as well ..yes, I was a definite mess. He worked with my body but also with my mind, helping me break down old body fears so I could move on and advance in my practice. His Pilates choreography and transitions are flawless and he is tireless in bringing you new and exciting moves as his repertoire is seemingly endless. He will educate you so that you truly understand what is going on and what you are doing.
Because of his vast experience and his knowledge of the body and movement he will both encourage and challenge you to perform at a level you never thought possible. As students we often wonder, “How far can I go or develop in this movement?” and “Can I expect to really achieve a certain look?” And the very next question is usually, “Can my instructor actually help me achieve my goals?” Well if you are working with Ron the answer to these questions is a resounding “YES “
Working with Ron is probably the closest experience to working with the Master Joseph Pilates himself because he WILL transform your body and you WILL achieve power , precision and flow."

"I remember the first time I met Ron Spiess. I had been taking Pilates for a couple of years mostly on weekends when I learned there was a later evening class that would fit my work schedule that Ron taught. However, I also had heard that Ron was an extremely hard teacher and selective about who he worked with, and frankly I was intimidated. One night, when I was still too afraid to take class, I watched an entire class that Ron was teaching. He noticed me watching and as soon as class was over he approached me with a welcoming, “So are you going to take my class.” I told him my concerns and he quickly dispelled them. I found in Ron an incredibly warm and gentle human being. One who made me feel comfortable taking a class that pushed me beyond my comfort zone. From that moment on I became a devotee of Ron Spiess Pilates. I took his evening classes faithfully and found that his reputation for being a hard teacher was true, but in the best of ways. I felt like I got an aerobic workout as well as a Pilates workout in Ron’s classes and I sweat like mad. I credit Ron with teaching me more about Pilates and my body than any Pilates teacher before or after Ron. I always felt great after Ron’s classes and no matter my mood, I always felt better after class than I did before. Ron Spiess is a teacher of great knowledge of Pilates and of the human body and spirit. Kind, funny, and hardworking he will make you work hard and feel better for it. I cannot recommend Ron Spiess Pilates highly enough."

"Ron Spiess is an extraordinary Pilates instructor. He has helped me improve my scoliosis and addressed other alignment and knee issues that have bothered me for many years. Sessions are always varied and his corrections ensure that all movements are done properly. He is always attentive, careful, and encouraging. As a result of my work with Ron over the last few years, I am stronger and more confident about movement. It is a joy to work with Ron and I am lucky to have him as my teacher."
